Master Director Ruth Ann Parker is the newest addition to the Rich-Tone family. Ruth Ann grew up in a barbershop home, even singing in a quartet with her older brother and two sisters. With their father as coach, The Singing Brocks toured the United States for 10 years. Prior to joining the Rich-Tones, Ruth Ann has directed five choruses in her Sweet Adeline career: Miami, Royal Palm, Houston Horizon, Vienna Falls and Greater Richmond. Under her direction, these choruses have all won Regional championships and continued on to compete at the International level, with two choruses placing in the top 10. Ruth Ann has traveled far and wide to coach countless choruses and quartets. She has been active in various regions, serving as regional faculty in Regions 9 and 14. In 1967 she won the International Quartet Championship singing baritone with the Hurricane Honeys at Carnegie Hall in New York. She has been very involved with the Coronet Club, having served as Vice President, stage manager and choreographer. With over 40 years as a Sweet Adeline, Ruth Ann has many achievements: BACK 1 2 | ||
